Precision Rings, Inc. (PRI) works closely with worldwide industry leaders in the power generation field to create the best seal rings for both nozzle and exhaust duct applications. Gas Turbines rely heavily on nozzles to introduce the combustion gases at a constant rate to create the cleanest and most efficient burn possible. Failure from a nozzle can cause damage to other nozzles and areas of the combustion chamber necessitating extensive maintenance. By creating a better seal between the differentiating air and gas paths, Precision Rings is able to help attain the optimal burn, as well as the cycle time of the gas turbine. The contracting and expanding rings for power generation that PRI creates have out-performed target nitrous oxide (NOX) output levels set up by customers and the EPA. The tight tolerances held on Seal Ring designs will allow the system to attain the mandated exhaust standards.
